Eating healthy reduces your risk of getting cancer, diseases and heart disease and heart attacks. Its never to late to start eating healthier and exercising sweety. For months last year I've been doing my best and now this year I vow to work hard and do better and I am so proud of myself!! Eating healthy feels great and you get more energy, less tired and more conscious about what is actually going into your body instead of all these bad fats, trans fats and chemicals that can clog up your heart and create complications within your body. Here are some easy and quick ways to help you change your life for the better. Remember eating healthy is great but you are allowed to eat junk or have a sweet in moderation. First >>> 8 CUPS of water. I know it sounds like a ton but if you carry a reusable water bottle its about 2-4 cups. Or try buying a bottle of water. Also you can drink it before, during or after a workout, while you are waiting for a bath, while studying or put down a glass next to you before bed. Try to incorporate it with your schedule. WHY WATER IS IMPORTANT: we need water to live. Most of our bodies are made up of water. Water helps the digestive system run smoothly, gives you clearer skin, helps you stay hydrated and helps you lose weight! 2nd - BREAKFAST start your day with it! I know sometimes you all don't have time but never skip it. You'll be hungry and can't concentrate. Wake up earlier or eat while waiting for the bus, I'm the car or bus or between early classes. Even a quick granola bar helps. One hard boiled egg for protein, or a cup of yogurt or fruit with milk makes a quick and easy breakfast food for you. Sugary cereals will make you tired and crash :( 3rd WHEN YOU ARE OUT or at a event do your best to make healthy food choices. Nothing healthy? Drink water or ask what else people have to eat. Don't eat too much that you feel stuffed. You eat to not feel hungry anymore not to be stuffed full :( try healthy choices at restaurants or add veggies to a burger, pasta, salad and no pop for drinks. Also - CUT OUT TOO MUCH SUGAR- anything with cane sugar gives natural sweetness. Juices or things with a lot of sugar in it ( think about many tablespoons) is not only scary but is so bad for your teeth and makes you crash out faster. Get rid of drinking soda all the time and instead for low sugar juice, milk or water. Coca cola eats up your arteries and pepsi. That's shocking. There are up to like50 tablespoons of sugar in a pop can; :-,. Lastly? SNACK SMART- how about cheese, fruit, almonds, rice cakes, plain popcorn, eggs or protein bar, granola bar or dried fruit and no cookies or cakes or chips all the time. In moderation but not all the time ;( makes you break out and filled will stuff your body doesn't need. I hope this has helped give you a bit of insight about healthy eating and that you can incorporate these things. Remember don't eat lesd, eat healthier. Diets are bad and make your body weird. Eating healthy improves your body as a while, better mindset and longer life <3 I'm proud if you for making changes. Soda actually sucks sodium from your bones , a king you more prone to osteoporosis and frailness of bones etc.
