**HEY GUYS- THIS HAS BEEN UPDATED - **
I wrote this journal originally a couple of months ago, but now realizing that I kind of wrote this out of pure bitterness and judging..I admit it. So instead of saying all the wrong stuff people are doing with Facebook (self promoting or superficial beauty contests or who's the prettiest contest or who has the most likes and etc trying to get 3000+ friends.) I won't go on, you probably have a whole list of things that annoy or aggravate you on Facebook. Well I am here to inform you.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

1.) ''Privacy''
EVERY SINGLE THING YOU DO ON FACEBOOK IS not private or for you and your friends eyes only, UNLESS YOU CHANGE YOUR SETTINGS. There are a lot of creeps out there and you don't know who may be watching your stuff. If you are fine with it or do not think it is serious and no one is bothering, feel free to do what you please. Look out for future employers though ;D Your profile can say a lot about you~ (I find myself guilty that my pictures are public but what people post on my wall is for my friends eyes only! :) I DON'T need to show case how many people post on my wall or etc.
Also ->>>>>>>> please do not COMPARE YOUR LIFE WITH OTHERS.

2.) " Having a Perfect Image''
WHAT YOU SEE ON PEOPLE'S TIMELINES and all their pictures.
You may think they lead some sort of ''life'
and that their life is all picture glam perfect, but that's not it at all. You have NO IDEA. I used to think so too and go..gee they seem to be having the time of their lives!
We all create an image of ourselves, let's be honest, if we use Facebook frequently, whether we are intentionally doing so OR NOT :O <--------I do it sometimes too! :O Guilty. Hey, I'm human.
So you might think : {{""OH THAT COUPLE LOOKS SO HAPPY!
LOOK AT ALL THE HAPPY PICS THEY POST
OH THEY LOOK HAPPY KISSING,.}}
Maybe they are just posing for fun {somehow I find all couples on Facebook do this but I don't want to take more than 2 pictures of my boyfriend and I TRYING to showcase how truly happy we are TO THE WORLD .-.}or things are not going so great between them?
Ohh look at all that girls photos, she is so BEAUTIFUL AND PERFECT.
I bet she edits photos, we all do. It's normal and we have those times where you take like 50 selfies and you are only satisfied with 1? :p Or where you ask people to like your status or stuff. Okay, we all do stuff like that, but we are only human. Facebook is a multi media base for wanting CONSTANT FEEDBACK or being like ''hey look at what I AM DOING'' posting photos, or maybe just posting photos for memories but yea. Wait what was I going to say-? O.O

WARNING: I would not suggest cussing a lot or posting rude comments or cyber bullying or anything. Scratch that, HECK NO DO NOT EVEN THINK ABOUT IT.

BOTTOM LINE. We all act a certain way online and sometimes people don't know and think that you are being fake or whatever.
Well to each their own, it IS YOUR OWN FACEBOOK. so do as you please..

(( FUNNY LITTLE NOTE :'D This happens to me quite a bit when I interact with people I do not know-> People block you? You win. You block people? You win. Either way,?? It's over. Facing mean comments? Walk away from it. It's just online. Words do not have to define you or HURT YOU UNLESS YOU LET THEM. People who try to put you down have a problem with themselves and try to cut others down and have ''reasons'' and intentions for doing so~ If you don't know them personally and have never met these people in real life before whether it be ex friends you made on Facebook/Roleplayers or rude people/trolls/ and pedophiles. Unless um..you know them and you might have to deal with them in real life where they ACTUALLY ARE IN YOUR SCHOOL OR SOMETHING? THEN I WISH YOU LUCK. Just get rid of negative people and whatever you choose to do, it benefits YOU IN THE END :-D

Conclusion : Facebook stalk, comment, take pics to your content (it really annoys me though, people who have 100+ photos of themselves and cannot choose or think they are ugly but post naughty pics or whatever for attention) or ''Like 4 like or do adding games or enter those ''who is the hottest girl contests. Let's face it, there is a huge majority of superficiality on facebook but don't forget it's true purpose!

TO KEEP IN TOUCH WITH FRIENDS, FAMILIES, CO WORKERS and potentially make new friends!
Have fun facebooking! :) <3 Please do not let it consume your life though or have an addiction to it. I admit I had quite a few. Balance your offline and online life, and I guarantee you will get more out of life! I sure know I did!

-------------------------------------------

Just be yourself on Facebook, use it for it's true purpose and keep in close contact with loved ones. Also do not reveal too much information, have fun and BE SAFE! I love you babes! :'D
-Stay golden! ~ Eleni <3 xox

You always get that sort of stuff online. Superficial behavioral tendencies are just more noticeable in Internet cities (websites with a massive amount of traffic). This is an Internet city; that's why we see Facebook as a superficial site for selfies and casual gaming. That's why most people see dA as a "NSOC (not-so-original character) website; Tumblr as a site for radical SJW's that don't seem to know the meaning of the word "justice"; and Twitter as a day-to-day stenographer. Once a site becomes an Internet city, this sort of online stereotyping is inevitable. And this is why I am primarily an artist.
